The house with the big roof that started as a child's drawing

"Our child drew a picture of a house in kindergarten. We were living in an apartment at the time, but for some reason he drew a picture of a detached house with a rocket (laughs). Looking back, that was what inspired us to build a house," recalls the husband. Drawing on his experience living in an apartment, they adopted a design with a high ceiling and an open atrium, while prioritizing insulation and airtightness. The wife, who "loves to draw," illustrated the details of each area and worked with the feasibility study specialist to develop the plan. "We used to live on the sixth floor of an apartment, so going out was a hassle, but now we can just open the door and go outside. It's almost as comfortable as when we lived in an apartment. I'm grateful to my child for drawing us a picture of a house (laughs)."
